MCSE Jobs - Will I Achieve My Goal?

MCSE Training

You have now attained your MCSE certification but you suddenly find that the MCSE jobs being advertised may be out of your league as you do not have the hands on experience. So how do you go about finding that perfect first job even though are inexperienced, but are willing to work in order to gain it?

What is important to note that most companies will not post all of their positions in newspapers or at local employment agencies? Instead it may be a good idea that you promote yourself. In order to do this you need to carry out the following:-

1. Make a list of all those companies which you are interested in working for including those that do not always post every vacant position that they have.

2. Next update your CV and ensure that it shows all your qualifications and certifications as well as any experience you may have in relation to the company that you are applying to.

3. Next send off a copy of your CV with a covering letter either by e-mail or by post. Preferably by e-mail as this will show that you are not scared of using a computer and are able to navigate your way around the various software packages and systems. Now all you have to do is sit and wait and see who responds. If you are getting more than 5% of the people you have written to responding to your e-mail this is good. But if you haven't heard back from some of them within a week of sending your first e-mail then resend it to them. After this one of three things is likely to happen.

a. They will never respond or write back to you.
b. They will send you a letter saying that unfortunately they have no positions available at present for someone of your capabilities.
c. They may well invite you to come to their offices for an interview.

Also another step you need to take in order to getting your that first real MCSE job is to believe that many of these jobs do not actually need you to have the experience. So by having a defeatist attitude then more than likely you will never get that job you have always wanted. It is important that you believe the skills you have to offer will more than compensate for your lack of experience. So even if you find yourself for job after MCSE jobs and still not getting anywhere one day suddenly you may well find that someone sees something in you than nobody else has and will offer you that first rung on the ladder in your dream career.
